Stories Behind Our Success had a chance to meet and Interview Dorcas Moma who's a student at the University of Tumaini Dar es Salaam College, She's Congolese by Birth but she grew up in Tanzania and commenced her studies in Tanzania too. She owns a Diploma in Public Relations and a Diploma in Journalism, at the moment she is pursuing a Degree in Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. Dorcas Moma owns a Boutique called Dress Me Up In Style its Online based.

SBOS: Hello Dorcas, How are you? Am very glad that we are having this Interview with you today.
Dorcas: Hi, Am Fine Thank you. First of all it's an honor to be part of this amazing Journey that you've started Thank you so much for inviting me.
SBOS: Could you please introduce yourself in terms of your Name and Background.
Dorcas: Am My Name is Dorcas Moma am 23 years old, I am Congolese by birth but I pretty much grew up in Tanzania and I've studied here, I have a Diploma in Journalism and I have a Diploma in Public Relations and so far am pursuing a Degree in Mass Communications, Am I think that's it when it comes to just introducing me as me.
SBOS: Oh that is nice, Could you tell us your Achievements so far or you're Key Moments in life?
Dorcas: Well One thing that I can say that I have achieved so far is that I started my Business last year it's something that I had in my mind for a very long time and it took me a while to actually start it, and I thank GOD that I got the Courage and the Funds to start the business and so far.. I can say everything is going great and am I have achieved quite a new journey, in my life where I get to meet new people and get to know about them and design clothes that they like and My Second achievement I'd probably say is having started my Journey with GOD at a very young age and here I am now officially serving GOD in terms of standing on the pulpit and preach the word of GOD that is something that really touches me in the sense that I am able to touch people's lives through GOD'S word that's the greatest achievement for me to be able to change people's lives through GOD'S word just like the way GOD changed my Life.
SBOS: What triggered you into starting a business because you know most youth right know, Who are in their 20's do not really know much about starting a business nor do they have much knowledge into it.

Dorcas: So for me what really Inspired me into starting a business, Is that First of all It is that am surrounded by so many friends that own their own business... so for me that actually Inspired and Motivated me to say "Why can't I just start something of my own" and I run a clothing business where I buy Fabrics, I create the Designs they tailor them and I sell them to people. It's something that I have always liked and loved because designing clothes, so I decided to put into action and most of my friends have their own business so it inspired me to say why can't I just start something of my own where am able to touch people through the designs that I make, and that am also able to help myself financially that I can also use my own Money when it comes to buying gifts for my friends, I do not have to depend on my Parents and having to ask them money.
SBOS: Could you Please tell us you're Lowest Moment in Life that you've experienced?
Dorcas: Well am I'd say back in my Teenage years I passed through Depression where I wanted validation from people , I wanted to please people so that they could accept me, that actually led me into thinking of committing Suicide.
SBOS: So how did you overcome that because there some people out there thinking of committing suicide?
Dorcas: Well am Thankful to GOD that the friends I have, helped me to overcome depression and spoke to me and encouraged me to not think of committing Suicide and through that GOD'S word spoke to me and I surrounded to his words, also to anyone out there thinking of that , I want you to know that Everything happens for a reason and there is a time for everything in this time you might feel like no one understands you, where you don't feel like you have a purpose to live but one thing is for sure, I can say GOD creates everyone with a purpose, you being alive today there is a purpose for it whatever that you might be going through right now think of it as a Testimony, You can be able to tell someone one day that I went through this and I overcame it and that you are also going through this its going to be okay you can be another person's motivation to live, you being alive today you having to go through whatever you are going through in this very moment it's for a purpose is to make you and shape you to the person you are supposed to become you can even become a blessing to so many other people that might also be going through the same situation that you are going through.
SBOS: Thank you, um is the any quote or motivation that you can share with us?
Dorcas: For me it is not a quote, for me it's a Bible Verse because I live by the word and this Bible verse that kept me going through at this moment is that in Romans 8:28 it says... No, Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the Plans that I have you says the Lord, Plans to make you Prosper and not to Harm you to give you a better Hope in the Future", That is something that has always worked to me, living that no matter what happens in my life, when things do not go way my way I know that GOD'S way is the best.
